A space that creates circulation through clean color and refined openness.
1. Kitchen — Water Energy Reinforcement
1) Energy Solution
This space was designed to regulate an energy structure strongly concentrated in Fire energy.
Rather than suppressing Fire, the focus was placed on strengthening Water energy to soften excessive heat and emotional intensity, while reinforcing Metal energy to support the smooth circulation of Water. Earth energy was also carefully added to stabilize the overall balance and help the strong Fire energy flow more naturally throughout the space.
Because Fire energy tends to rise and intensify, the design focused on creating a calmer and more breathable rhythm through softness, openness, and visual depth.
2) Design Focus & Key Elements
Fortunately, the existing high-ceiling structure already supports healthy energy circulation by preventing heat and heaviness from becoming trapped within the kitchen.
The white cabinetry establishes a clean Metal energy, reinforced through gold-toned hardware, lighting, and faucets that bring clarity and refinement to the space. Soft sage and muted aqua tones were introduced to strengthen Water energy in a subtle and elegant way, creating a cooler and calmer atmosphere without feeling cold.
Natural wood textures and stone flooring provide grounding stability while maintaining a clean and refreshing feeling throughout the design.
3) Design Effect
The addition of glass cabinet doors increases visual depth and creates a lighter, more open atmosphere. Adjusting the corner structure also helped expand the kitchen's spatial flow, making the space feel wider and more breathable.
This openness improves the circulation of the supporting energies introduced into the design, helping regulate the client's excessive Fire energy more naturally. The final atmosphere feels calm, refined, bright, and balanced while preserving the vitality of the original Fire energy.
